Incidental 3[1], also known as crowd members, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Reef Blower," while his production order debut is in "Squeaky Boots." He is classified as a hotdog-type incidental.
Description
He is a light blue banana-shaped guppy with dark green fins and yellow eyes. He wears a red shirt. His nostrils appear to be on his forehead and he has thin black feet.
Crowd
They are distant incidentals with Incidental 3's color palette appearing as four faded blue oval fish who wear red shirts and have yellow eyes. They are normally portrayed to be viewed from their backsides.
Role in series
Incidental 3 has made several cameos throughout the show as a silent background character who is usually seen deep in crowds with other incidentals, although he has had a fair amount of notable roles in the first two seasons. He was firstly designed to be a Krusty Krab customer.

"Reef Blower"
He and Fred are seen driving on a four way crossroad where they both stop in front of each other when SpongeBob's zooms through the crossroad.
"Pickles"
He gasps when Bubble Bass reveals that there are no pickles on his Krabby Patty and when SpongeBob tells Bubble Bass "rawr."
"Squeaky Boots"
He can be seen watching Mr. Krabs freaking out alongside other customers.
"F.U.N." / Tales from Bikini Bottom
Judy steals a watch from Incidental 3's pocket when Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to swipe the Krabby Patty Plankton stole from his pocket.
"Hooky"
He is shown as one of the customers that is seen ignoring Mr. Krabs after he bursts through the front doors at the beginning of the episode.
"Bubble Buddy"
He glares at SpongeBob when he discovers that he has been waiting in the bathroom line for Bubble Buddy.
"Patty Hype"
He is shown to be one of the fish that cheer right before Mr. Krabs buries himself.
"Prehibernation Week" / Tales from Bikini Bottom
He looks at Sandy when she bursts through the front Krusty Krab doors.
"The Smoking Peanut"
He is part of the riot at the Oyster Stadium lead by Sandals.
"Krab Borg"
He panics when Squidward tells the customers that robots have taken over their world.
"Mind the Gap"
He is one of the customers at the Krusty Krab who gets amazed by SpongeBob's new singing voice.
"Jolly Lodgers"
He is one of the fanatics that Squidward uses The Zapper on.
"SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout"
He is present in the line outside of SpongeBob's house.
"You're Going to Pay...Phone"
He is one of the many Krusty Krab customers that is impressed by Mr. Krabs' cursed generosity.
"Bad Luck Bob"
He is driving and his steering wheel comes off, making him crash into a fire hydrant. Later, he crashes into SpongeBob, and then Lou's hot dog cart.
The Patrick Star Show
"Stuntin'"
He is one of the lawnies who watch GrandPat as Patrick.
"A Fool Schooled"
He chases Incidental 179 around the playground. Patrick throws a dodgeball at them, turning them into bowling pins.
Trivia
- On the official SpongeBob Twitter/Facebook/Instagram post from October 5, 2020, Incidental 3's model number is mistakenly swapped with Incidental 6's model number.
- His role in "Reef Blower" was originally meant for Incidental 2.
- He makes his first speaking role in "You're Going to Pay...Phone."
