Jelly Maker
Jelly Makers are characters that appear as enemies in the video game The Cosmic Shake.
Description
Jelly Makers are large purple blob-like creatures with several eyes and mouths placed all over their bodies, and a Krusty Krab hat set atop their heads. Their "main" face features a mouth with big blue lips, a set of sharp teeth, and a single red eye.
Role in game
Jelly Makers are fairly common enemies that first appear in Wild West Jellyfish Fields, and can be found in most other levels. Instead of attacking directly, they spawn standard Jellies and occasionally let out a sonic roar that knocks SpongeBob back if he gets too close to them. They take three hits to defeat. They drop six jellies when defeated.
Trivia
- Jelly Makers bear a slight resemblance to the Appetizer in its monster form.
- Jelly Makers were likely inspired by the Duplicatron 1000 from Battle for Bikini Bottom, as both enemies are able to spawn other enemies.
- There is an achievement in The Cosmic Shake that can be earned by defeating five Jelly Makers by knocking other enemies into them.
- After defeating a Jelly Maker, it rewards you with one pair of SpongeBob's underwear.
