The man inc hat,[1] also known as Judge 3 and the man, is an unnumbered incidental character who first appears in the episode "Something Smells." His incidental type is currently unknown.
Description
He is a brown fish with tan fins and orange lips. He wears a light blue collared shirt, black pants, and a black hat with a blue ribbon and feather.
Judge 3
He is colored pale green and has lighter green colored fins, dark green lips, light yellow eyes, and brown hair. He wears a yellow turtleneck sweater with brown pants with a black belt that has a silver colored buckle. The man has the same appearance as Judge 3.
Names
- In "Gary in Love," ann orange Judge 3 was named Brad.
- In "Squiditis," Judge 3 was named Ted.
Role in series
The man inc hat has appeared quite a few times so far. His normal design was absent from the series for 18 years after his debut appearance, but he makes a comeback in the season 11 episode, "The String." Judge 3 however has appeared in quite a few episodes during his main design's absence, namely as an actor is some of his appearances.

Judge 3 first appears alongside Gladys in a movie after saving her from Pirate 1. He later arrives to Incidental 115 with his snail near the end of the episode.

Judge 3 appears in a romantic comedy with Jennifer (Teen 15).
"The String"
He visits the Krusty Krab after all the other customers leave due to them suddenly being naked because of SpongeBob unravelling the string on Squidward's shirt. However, after he sees SpongeBob's nudity, he leaves.
"Squid's on a Bus"
When Squidward throws out Mabel (Inc 82)'s umbrella, it lands on his head.
"The Hankering"
He rides a cab driven by Steven, which Mr. Krabs hitches a ride under to secretly go to The Slop Pail.
