The Slop Pail was a restaurant outside of Bikini Bottom that appears in the episode "The Hankering."

Description

It is an old, rusty, worn-out trailer connected to a truck with barrels of chum in the back. It has an old worn-out wooden sign that reads "The Slop Pail." It was founded by Sal.

Role in episode

Mr. Krabs secretly goes out of Bikini Bottom to go to this restaurant to order chum. SpongeBob followed him to return a nickel he dropped, only to discover his secret obsession. Mr. Krabs reveals that during his navy days there was a time when he was forced to eat chum, which he grew to love. Shortly after this, the restaurant closes as Sal decided to pursue a career as a movie star.
