The live-action cow is a cow who appears in the episodes "A SquarePants Family Vacation," "Mutiny on the Krusty," and "All Out of Idea Bricks."
Description
She is a live-action photograph of a cow with big black spots on her body. In "A SquarePants Family Vacation," the cow wears a brown rope collar with a bell around her neck.

The cow is seen in outer space. She gets surprised when she sees SpongeBob and his family in their car. The car hits the cow and the cow lands on the moon.
"Mutiny on the Krusty"
The cow is briefly seen at the beginning of the episode, where she is blown away by the rip current.
The Patrick Star Show
"All Out of Idea Bricks"
Patrick gets the idea to milk a cow after an idea brick drops on his head. He is then seen milking the cow, until the cow kicks Patrick with her back legs.

- Similar cartoon cows appear in Battle for Bikini Bottom, in SpongeBob SquarePants: Look and Find, and in "The Sewers of Bikini Bottom."
- All appearances of the cow in the main series show her floating in some way. This indicates that the cow is always seen in places where she shouldn't be.
- The cow being in the rip current in "Mutiny on the Krusty" is a reference to the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz."
- The cow being on the moon in "A SquarePants Family Vacation" is a reference to the nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle."
- Somehow, the cow is able to breathe underwater, as seen in "Mutiny on the Krusty" and "All Out of Idea Bricks."
- Since there is no oxygen in space, the cow shouldn't be able to breathe in space either, as seen in "A SquarePants Family Vacation."
