The live-action orchestra is a group of musicians who appear multiple times in the episode "Clams" and the book Who's Hungry?.

Role in episode

The orchestra first appears when Sandals gives Mr. Krabs his one millionth dollar.

They later appear on Mr. Krabs' boat after SpongeBob casts his millionth dollar into the lagoon, which warns him that a clam is approaching.

Mr. Krabs later uses the orchestra to bring back the clam so he can retrieve his dollar.

The conductor featured in the footage is Meyer Davis who was featured in several pieces of footage within the Archive Films collection.
While the majority of the footage used for the orchestra is unavailable as of 2024, at least one of the videos is still available for purchase on the Getty Images website. ^[1]
