Mr. Krabs' mattress
Mr. Krabs' mattress is a mattress that belongs to Mr. Krabs. It is where he sleeps and keeps his money. It first appears in the episode "The Lost Mattress."

It is revealed that Mr. Krabs keeps the Krabby Patty secret formula under his mattress.
"The Lost Mattress"
Mr. Krabs kept all his cash in there and slept on it for a long time. Years later, his back is not in a good state and hurting because his mattress is "lumpy." When SpongeBob finds out, he feels bad for Mr. Krabs, and, along with Patrick, he buys a new mattress for him and replace the old one.
When Mr. Krabs tries it out, he falls fast asleep, but when Squidward tells him that he had his old mattress thrown in the dump, he is furious. With the loss of his beloved cash, Krabs spirals and falls into a "cash coma," and the doctor at the Bikini Bottom Hospital tells them that retrieving the mattress is the only way to prevent his coma from progressing to death.
SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick try to get the mattress back from The Dump, but are unable to because of the guard worm, though the worm repeatedly attacks Squidward more since he tries to get SpongeBob and Patrick attacked, only to have his attempts backfire. However, once Mr. Krabs is moved out of the hospital in the morning, he is sent rolling down a hill to the dump, where he reunites with his cash-filled mattress and breaks out of his coma. He throws the worm off, leading it to chase after Squidward.

Trivia
- In various episodes, Mr. Krabs sleeps on a hammock instead of a mattress, such as in "Squeaky Boots."
- When Mr. Krabs reveals that he keeps all his cash in the mattress, this shocks Squidward so much that he asks if Mr. Krabs has even heard of a bank, which Mr. Krabs yells, "NO!" at. It is unclear if he is answering Squidward's question, or if he is just shouting in despair over losing all his cash.
- Mr. Krabs says he "has to go to the bank" in "Krabby Land," though it is not clear if he does have a bank account, or if he just says this as an excuse to get away from the kids, who are angry with him for impersonating Krabby the Clown.
- Mr. Krabs does join the Bank of Bikini Bottom Bank when it is newly opened in "Safe Deposit Krabs."
