The old sailor is a live-action elderly human who appears in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" and the book Friends Forever.
Description
He is an old man who wears a white sailor hat. He appears to have light gray hair and he wears a navy blue jacket. Underneath his jacket is a blue shirt with white dots.
Role in episode
He briefly appears when SpongeBob is talking about how old people are the greatest. After he talks about how they are full of wisdom and experience, the old sailor is briefly seen winking and giving a thumbs up. He uses his right arm while doing this.
