Prudence in Love
Prudence in Love is a romantic movie shown in the episode "Don't Make Me Laugh."
Synopsis
It is melodramatic type romantic movie with black and white style, shown to be screened at the Reef Cinema. It seems like the movie is set in the Middle Ages in a castle, where a loving couple, Prudence and Nathaniel, romantically argue about who loves the other more.
Role in episode
SpongeBob and Patrick go to the Reef Cinema to watch a comedy movie. Patrick tries to spoiler the movie for SpongeBob, but SpongeBob doesn't let him. When they take their seats, SpongeBob suspects they took the wrong movie theater upon seeing the title. Patrick starts laughing at the movie, which gets on SpongeBob and his "funny bone gets stuck in high gear", causing uncontrollable laughter. The movie characters scold SpongeBob for laughing as it's supposed to be a melodrama instead of a comedy. SpongeBob's laughter annoys the viewers, so the usher removes him from the movie, much to the delight of both the audience and the movie characters.
