The Reef Retreat[1] is the main hub area of SpongeBob Tower Defense in which the game takes place and is where the player first spawns. Buses are available to wrap the player to other worlds.
Description
The Reef Retreat is an area composed of multiple features, which themselves are made up of multiple objects and locations from Bikini Bottom.
Role in game
The player spawns outside of SpongeBob's house and can find many features in the game at The Reef Retreat. Patrick runs the AFK rock, Squidward runs the challenges, Mr. Krabs runs the merchant, a raid place inside a volcano, the Flying Dutchman runs the trading, King Neptune runs the summoning for units, and buses are seen outside the Krusty Krab, wraping other players to other worlds to complete chapters. It was completely revamped in July 2025.
During the April Fools Event, the loading screen for this world changed to a poorly drawn version with the title saying "DoodleBob Tower Defense". However, the next day it was reverted back.
