Rice Barn is a Chinese food restaurant that SpongeBob goes to in the episode "Two Thumbs Down."
Description
Exterior
The building looks like a huge Chinese food box that is mainly white with the restaurant's name imprinted on it in red text. There are also circular yellow windows.
Interior
The inside is briefly seen and appears to have some red tables, light green bamboo walls, and light blue seats.
Role in episode
It appears during the "Two Thumbs Down song" when SpongeBob is shown going inside. He cannot eat due to his broken thumbs interfering with his ability to pick up the chopsticks properly.
Trivia
- The building bears a striking resemblance to the restaurant Wet Noodle from the episode "SpongeBob You're Fired" due to both resembling Chinese food containers.
- This is the second Chinese restaurant to appear in the series. The first was Wet Noodle from "SpongeBob You're Fired."
- Coincidentally, both appear in season 9.
