Sockeye Sammy

From SpongeBob Wiki
(Redirected from Sockeye Sammie)
Character

Sockeye Sammy is a character who appears in the episode "Patrick's Prison Pals."

Description

He is a large brown fish with a brown mustache and wears a black-and-white striped prison suit, although he wears Patrick's shirt and forehead when Sammy takes advantage of him and escapes jail.

Role in episode

When Patrick tries to find a bathroom, he uses Sockeye Sammy's cell. Sammy takes advantage of Patrick's naïveté, switches clothes with him, and escapes Bikini Bottom Jail. Bunny runs over him, confuses him for Patrick and takes him to the Star house.

They then arrive at home, where the Star family is having dinner, being a rotten boot. Sockeye doesn't want it, causing Cecil to become very suspicious, so Sammy eats it anyway. When running to the bathroom and planning throw it up, he crosses paths with Tinkle, who barks at him and bites his rectum. Scared, he runs to the time closet in Patrick's room, which only leads him getting into more trouble.

Sockeye escapes the time closet, thinking that everything'll be alright. Unfortunately, he runs into Squidina, who knows he's a criminal - although she doesn't really care. She uses him as a substitute for Patrick in The Patrick Show!, but Sammy can't even get through that thanks to the Star family's bizarre and nonsensical antics. Meanwhile, Patrick and the other prisoners are out of the slammer and almost free, and he and Sockeye run into each other while digging tunnels. They swap clothes back and return back to their respective places.

Sockeye is back in his cell, discovering peace, rest and relaxation. However, Patrick convinces his family to move into prison, (which they do) making him even more miserable than before.
