SpongeBob Comics No. 33 is a SpongeBob SquarePants comic book that was released on June 11, 2014.
Summary
SpongeBob's first multi-part epic continues in part 2 of "Showdown at the Shady Shoals"--featuring a knock-down, drag-out underwater battle between Mermaid Man and his haughty rival, Viro Reganto! It's a sub-aquatic slap fight that's got SpongeBob on the edge of his square seat! Plus we've got a slew of summer-themed silliness: Gary goes to camp in "Survival Snail"; Goo Lagoon beach is swarmed by jellyfish in "Invasion!"; and the whole Krusty Krab feels the burn in "Hot Spot." All this and facts about real-life jellyfish by Maris Wicks (Primates), a pin-up by Silver Age superstar Ramona Fradon (Metamorpho, Plastic Man), and 2 pages of SpongeFunnies by James Kochalka (Dragon Puncher Island).[1]
