The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

  • In "Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion," Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen go into the ocean to look for a tracking device, and when they find it, a pineapple can be seen at the mid-right. A Nickelodeon Extra commercial stated that the pineapple was indeed SpongeBob's house.
  • In the crossover comic with The Fairly OddParents named "Dimension Intervention," Timmy Turner mentions SpongeBob.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

  • In "The Siege of the North, Part 1," Master Pakku coyly stated to one of his students, "Nice work... a couple more years and you might be ready to fight a sea sponge." The show's creators later said in the audio commentary that his statement was a friendly poke at SpongeBob SquarePants.

  • In "Something's Fishy," the king of Atlantis, Greg, states that the diets of the merpeople consist of "Mr. Krabs, starfish, and the occasional underwater squirrel," as a joke to their fellow Nick animators.
  • In "Double Oh-Schnozmo!," while on vacation, Schnozmo plays his nose like a flute similar to how SpongeBob does in the intro sequence.
  • In "App Trap," the first kid with the smart phone has SpongeBob's pants, buck teeth, eyes, hair, and freckles.

Fanboy & Chum Chum

  • "Fanboy A'Hoy!" contains several references to SpongeBob. The moss Fanboy finds on the back of his head that points north is a reference to "Pizza Delivery," where moss that SpongeBob found on a rock points toward civilization. Chum Chum's pirate name is Chumbucket, which is also the name of Plankton's restaurant. Michael Johnson's name is The Dancing Dutchman, which is a play on the Flying Dutchman. Also, the episode title itself is a reference to the show's working title, SpongeBoy Ahoy!

Harvey Beaks

  • In "King of the Castle," Fee is shown holding a pizza box with the words "Pizza Castle" on it. Patrick mentions a restaurant of the same name in "The Bully," which was written by Harvey Beaks creator and SpongeBob veteran writer and storyboard artist C.H. Greenblatt.
  • When Fee is showing Foo the baby mobile she made for him in "Fee's Pyramid," there is a snail on the mobile that slightly resembles Gary.
  • In "Secret Gordon," there is a hedge shaped like SpongeBob.

Henry Danger

Hey Arnold!

  • In "Weighing Harold," SpongeBob's name can be seen on a record when Arnold overhears Sid and Stinky talking about Harold when passing by the comic store.

House of Anubis

  • In "House of Cameras/House of Numbers," Victor tried installing video cameras in order to try and keep a close eye on the students living in the Anubis house. While trying to get rid of the cameras, Patricia mentioned that they needed help from their house's comedic duo. Although she meant Alfie and Jerome, Amber thought she was talking about "SpongeBob and Patrick."
  • In "House of Crushes/House of Vertigo," Poppy asked Mara about what her dad's like. One of the things that Mara mentions is that he "dances like SpongeBob."

Instant Mom

  • In a commercial for Instant Mom, the lady plays a game where the viewer tells if it's real or fake and asks, "Is SpongeBob real?"

The Loud House

  • In "Left in the Dark," as the kids are rapidly changing the channel, a yellow sponge (SpongeBob) and pink starfish (Patrick) can briefly be seen on the television.
  • In "Sound of Silence," Luan's telling Lincoln about a garbage truck joke was heard previously in "Funny Pants."
  • In "Making the Grade" and "Friend or Faux?," a poster in Lisa's kindergarten class shows characters from the show:
    • a red crab (Mr. Krabs)
    • a yellow sponge (SpongeBob)
    • a pink starfish (Patrick)
    • a blue octopus (Squidward)
  • In "Road Trip: Bizarritorium," when Lincoln tries to change Luan's alarm clock to the previous hour, an alarm goes with several traps. One of them is a foghorn, similar to SpongeBob's alarm clock.

Marvin Marvin

  • "Marvin Gets a Pet" contains several references in one episode. Marvin's host father was bitten by an alien, and starts hallucinating. He then holds up an umbrella and says "Here's your clarinet, Squidward." He also points to a large dresser and says "I found SpongeBob SquarePants," and near the end of the episode says "We're meeting Abraham Lincoln at the Krusty Krab" and drives off in his car.

Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide

  • In "Photo Day," one of the kids wears a SpongeBob costume for their school photo.

Nick Kicks

  • In the UK-produced association football show Nick Kicks, SpongeBob is the show's mascot. One segment on the show consisted of a mascot costume of SpongeBob in goal where he goes up against mascots from other football clubs.

  • In "Go Hollywood," a SpongeBob statue made with LEGO bricks can be seen in a scene when Anne Harper poses with the statue, and impressions the SpongeBob laugh very badly.
  • In "She Blinded Him with Science (Bob)," when Science Bob has to get his spare pants, Dicky says "ScienceBob SparePants."
  • In "What's the Worst That Quad Happen?," when Grandma Harper watches TV, she says "That little fella lives in a pineapple!"

The Really Loud House

  • In "Last Friend Standing," upon spotting Lynn in the backyard over the security cameras, Lincoln exclaims, "Sweet mother of Pearl!", the exact same phrase that Mr. Krabs uses whenever something bad happens.

Sam & Cat

  • In "#TextingCompetition," when Cat was mentioning what she could do with the speed boat, she said "Number 3, look for SpongeBob's pineapple!"

School of Rock

  • In "Changes," the students fake being happy when their old teacher returns. Summer says to Tomika, "Tone it down. You look like SpongeBob's evil twin."

  • In "Like No Other Market on Earth," Equimorph morphs into a copyright friendly version of SpongeBob SquarePants known as "SpongeRobert RectangleShorts," who was voiced by Tom Kenny, SpongeBob's voice actor.

  • "Sneaky Panther Pants," a music track originally made for SpongeBob, plays in "Mystery Train." Nicolas Carr is a music editor for both shows.
  • In "Whispers," Fern saying "Photosynthesize! Photosynthesize!," followed by Finn interrupting him references "Karate Choppers," when SpongeBob says "Photosynthesis, photosynthesis," followed by Sandy interrupting him.

The Amazing World of Gumball

  • In "The Dream," Gumball finds a pineapple in his locker, and water comes out of it (a possible reference to SpongeBob's house).
  • In "The Pizza," a variety of real-life PlayStation 2 video games can be seen in the background, with one of them being Creature from the Krusty Krab.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

  • In "Shake Like Me," Meatwad says he wants a SpongeBob bounce house.
  • In "Last Last One Forever and Ever," a live-action episode, Meatwad (who is portrayed as a yoga ball) is helping Master Shake (who is portrayed as a human named "Don Shake") write a story, and suggests writing a story about "A sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea." Shake says "Hasn't that already been done?" and Meatwad replies "No. I don't think so."

Assy McGee

  • In "Murder on the Midway," a SpongeBob plush is seen.

Ben 10: Omniverse

  • There is a reoccurring background character named "Sponge Gorb" who was both designed and named after SpongeBob.

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

  • The flower clouds appeared during the Sea Critters commercial in "Scythe for Sale." The clouds later appeared in the underwater scenes of "Hog Wild."
  • In "Be A-Fred, Be Very A-Fred," a creature resembling SpongeBob makes a couple of cameos.
    • Coincidentally, Fred Fredburger, a character from this episode, is voiced by SpongeBob crew member C.H. Greenblatt. Greenblatt also wrote and storyboarded the episode.

MAD

  • SpongeBob was parodied in some segments of this Warner Bros. series during its three-year run:
    • Opening: A clay-animated character resembling SpongeBob is shown.
    • "Celebrity Birthdays" - Mort Jenkins, a jellyfish who landed the role of Jellyfish #56 on SpongeBob SquarePants, is one of the celebrities whom's birthday is being celebrated.
    • "WALL·E·NATOR" - The WALL·E·NATOR (a parody of WALL·E and The Terminator) uses his compactor to squeeze a round SpongeBob (who has eaten one too many Krabby Patties) back into a square.
    • "Batman Family Fued" - In the TV guide Afred and Batman was going through, you can see a show titled Freakish Yellow Speaking Absorbent Towel Larry, which is a obvious parody of SpongeBob.
    • "Cliffordfield" - The Sesame Street character Big Bird gets squashed into SpongeBob by a rampaging Clifford the Big Red Dog, disproving his statement that he's "a one-of-a-kind children's character."
    • "Who Wore it Better?" - In this sketch, SpongeBob is one of the candidates among various others, who are being debated on who wore a white sundress best.
    • "MAD vs. Wild" - Bear Grylls, attempting to survive in the wild, plucks Gary from a tree stump and eats him, although regretting that he ate him while he still had his shell.
    • "Celebrities Without Their Makeup"- SpongeBob, dressed like an elf, is depicted as a fruitcake when seen without his makeup.
    • "¡AY Carly!" - A Mexican version of SpongeBob, named "SpongeRoberto SquarePants," is shown at the end of this sketch, which serves as a commercial spot for a Mexican-themed parody of the Nickelodeon show iCarly. SpongeRoberto SquarePants is advertised as the show airing after the ¡AY Carly! time slot.
    • "Law & Ogre" - A framed picture of SpongeBob is seen at the Big Bad Wolfgangbucks restaurant.
    • "Pirates of the Pair of Tweens" - Plankton goes "planking" with Captain Jack Sparrow on the roof of the "Crabby Crust."
    • "SpongeWOW" - SpongeBob is seen as SpongeWOW, a parody of the ShamWOW towel, in this infomercial spoof. He is used by a spoof of Vince Offer to wipe up various spills against his will, including twelve bottles of non-FDA-approved hot sauce, which leaves his face burning.
    • "Abs-Duction" - Actor Taylor Lautner goes to Mr. Krabs' house, thinking he is his real father. Mr. Krabs responds by slamming the door at him, angrily. Unlike in the show, Mr. Krabs is not wearing a shirt, which ties into the plot of Taylor Lautner searching for his real parents, who he assumes are overexposed (just like him in the sense that he is often seen shirtless in his movies)
    • "New Gill" - Ariel from The Little Mermaid tries to find a new boyfriend after being dumped by Prince Eric for Ursula, and ends up dating SpongeBob, who she finds to be way too chipper and upbeat - even for someone as positive as her.
    • "iChronicle" - SpongeBob and Patrick can be seen on a Nickelodeon blimp.
    • "Fart or Chair" - In this game show spoof, SpongeBob is seen sitting in a massage chair.
    • "The Blunder Games" - A SpongeBob balloon is seen at a parade (in a parody of the 2012 film The Hunger Games).
    • "Taking Nemo" - SpongeBob is interrogated by an angry Liam Neeson (in the role of Bryan Mills from Taken) on the whereabouts of Nemo (from Disney/Pixar's film Finding Nemo).
    • "Dark Knight at the Museum" - SpongeBob is seen shouting "I'M READY!"
    • "SpongeBorg SquarePants" - In this sketch combining SpongeBob with Star Trek: The Next Generation (both Paramount Skydance Corporation properties), SpongeBob is a Borg that turns the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom into a hive mind of Borgs.
    • "Doraline" - Plush toys of SpongeBob can be seen at the Cheap Knock-Off Stand.

  • In "School Chums," Peppermint Patty's class watches a movie and Peppermint Patty sleeps through it. When Peppermint Patty is asked about the movie, she answers, "I don't suppose it was about SpongeBob, was it?"

  • In "Divide and Conquer," when the Mayor of Townsville turns around in his chair and announces to the Powerpuff Girls on the hot-line what the emergency is, his scurvy skin looks eerily similar to SpongeBob, who shares the same voice actor, Tom Kenny.
  • In "Substitute Creature," the song "Keen Ms. Keane" shares similarities in melody and formula to the F.U.N. Song.

Robot Chicken

  • In "That Hurts Me," the sketch "Where Do They Get the Energy?" spoofs SpongeBob SquarePants. Here, a sponge and a starfish gleefully dance with each other, then run out of energy. They crawl off-screen, exhausted, and then they can be heard snorting cocaine, and then the two run back on screen with high energy and dance with each other again. The characters in this sketch are meant to resemble SpongeBob and Patrick.
  • In "Tell My Mom," the sketch "Oh, You Meant Me" features Sandy getting pregnant and SpongeBob realizes she used himself (a sponge) to protect her.
  • In the sketch "Krabby Patties" seen in "Major League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," SpongeBob discovers Mr. Krabs' secret formula for Krabby Patties and reveals it to the patrons of the Krusty Krab: they are made from crab meat. He also points out to Squidward that the calamari rings he is eating are actually made from squid (while oddly, Squidward is an octopus), and informs a customer that her "Chicken of the Sea" salad is made with tuna. An angry mob of customers approach Mr. Krabs and attack him. SpongeBob then says that he's glad nothing disgusting ever happens to a sponge, and the scene cuts to a nurse informing a morbidly obese patient that she will be scrubbing deep within his rolls of fat with a sponge, and his examination will then be over. SpongeBob then pushes the scene aside, reiterating, "Nothing disgusting ever happens to a sponge!" A squish is then heard from the other scene, and the nurse says, "I hope that's pudding in there."
  • In "Boogie Bardstown in: No Need, I Have Coupons," SpongeBob is one of four contestants on MasterChef Celebrity Showdown, where celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay serves as host. Ironically, SpongeBob has to cook with the thing he fears most: water. SpongeBob fears water as he claims he cannot swim. He ends up catching fire while cooking during the competition. The other contestants are Bob Belcher from the animated comedy Bob's Burgers, Alfredo Linguini from the animated film Ratatouille, and Jerome "Chef" McElroy from the animated satire series South Park (although the character had been killed off from the series over a decade prior). A trio of Thetans from the religion of Scientology compete as well, ultimately winning the competition with their risotto dish.
  • In the sketch "Squidward's New Role" seen in "Gracie Purgatory in: That's How You Get Hemorrhoids," Squidward stars in an adult film.

Samurai Jack

  • In "Episode XXVII: Chicken Jack," one of the characters in the crowd resembles SpongeBob.

Sidekick

  • In "Halloweenie," Wardrobeman shows Eric all of the available costumes at his shop. One of them is "Big Yellow Sea Sponge," which depicts a very on-the-nose stand-in for SpongeBob, just wearing a a cowboy hat.

Summer Camp Island

  • Oscar breaks into Susie's cabin in "Ice Cream Headache" in a similar way to SpongeBob and Patrick when they break into Squidward's house.

The Super Hero Squad Show

Teen Titans Go!

  • In "Video Game References," Robin makes a rainbow when he says "Imagination," a reference to "Idiot Box."
  • In "BBRBDAY," Sticky Joe is seen wearing pants similar to Patrick's.
  • In "The Cast," Dr. Light's giant squid has eyes similar to that of Squidward Tentacles. Ironically Dr. Light's voice actor is in fact Rodger Bumpass, who also voices Squidward.
  • In "DC," the way Cyborg says "A half hour later..." is reminiscent of the French Narrator narrating the time cards.
  • In "A Stickier Situation," when Sticky Joe is battling The Penguin, one of the umbrellas has a jellyfish on it, which have the same design as the ones in SpongeBob.
  • The episode "Favorite Animated Show Nominee" is a satire of how Teen Titans Go! is always nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, which airs on Cartoon Network's rival channel, Nickelodeon. Teen Titans Go! always loses to SpongeBob SquarePants (11 nominations and 0 wins from the former, 1 loss and 22 wins for the latter), in which SpongeBob SquarePants wins every year since 2009 after Avatar: The Last Airbender beat its streak.

Uncle Grandpa

  • In "New Kid," Tommy imagines himself working at the Krusty Krab. Squidward appeared green with one eye.
  • In the short "The Grampies," Uncle Grandpa invites other cartoon characters to the award ceremony, who think they will receive an award. However, it was rigged for Uncle Grandpa to win every time. This is a reference to how SpongeBob SquarePants wins in the Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Cartoon every year.

Disney Channel/Disney XD/Disney Junior shows

Amphibia

  • In "The First Temple," a time card that has the same style to the time cards from SpongeBob can be seen during the middle part of the episode while Anne, Marcy, and the Plantars are climbing the stairs of the titular location.

Big City Greens

  • In "Dream Weaver," SpongeBob's voice can be heard saying, "King Dingles!" during Gramma Alice's nightmare.

Chibiverse

  • A stone resembling Squidward's house can be seen on the stage set during the first season.

Doc McStuffins

In "Home is Where the Fruit Is," the character Rocky lives in a pineapple house (with an identical arrangement of windows, a door, and a chimney), which appears on a board game. This is a reference to SpongeBob's house.

  • In "Phineas and Ferb-Busters!," Doofenshmirtz runs away from a robot similarly to the guy in the scary robot movie from "Krab Borg."
  • In "Summer Belongs to You!," Phineas finds a sponge and a starfish while digging a hole on a deserted island, a reference to SpongeBob and Patrick.

The Replacements

  • In "Running from Office," a boy that looks very similar to SpongeBob can seen. He has yellow hair, a square-shaped head, blue eyes, two teeth, and also wears a shirt with a red tie and brown short pants.

American Dad!

  • In "A Smith in the Hand," after Stan takes over TV and only airs "clean" shows, kids are seen complaining to their mother, with two saying "Where's SpongeBob?" and "We want Patrick!"
  • In "Scents and Sensei-bility," one of the piñatas that Stan and Francine brought home looked similar to SpongeBob.
  • In Season 7 Episode 18, one of Steve's toys is a plush doll that resembles a banana-shaped version of SpongeBob.
  • In "Father's Daze," Stan brought a SpongeBob cake for his family to cheer them up.

Bob's Burgers

The Cleveland Show

  • A recurring object in the show is a plush doll that resembles a banana-shaped version of SpongeBob.
  • In "Buried Pleasure," Cleveland wins a banana-shaped SpongeBob toy at the fair.
  • In "Gone with the Wind," Cleveland rode the Ferris wheel with a life-sized banana SpongeBob doll.
  • In "Beer Walk!," Holt mentioned a time he mistook a SpongeBob piñata for a woman.
  • In "A Short Story and a Tall Tale," Rallo had a stuffed toy of the banana-shaped version of SpongeBob.
  • In "Hot Cocoa Bang Bang," a few people can be seen in the background dressed as SpongeBob.

Family Guy

  • In "Prick Up Your Ears," a green SpongeBob toy is one of three toys Stewie uses as his "bodyguards" to protect him from the Tooth Fairy.
  • In "Road to Rupert," Meg becomes Peter's temporary personal chauffeur when Peter's license is suspended, and Meg plays "The Camping Episode" on the DVD player to amuse him. SpongeBob and Patrick are seen singing "The Campfire Song Song." The song was written by Dan Povenmire, who was also a director on that Family Guy episode. Because of this, he was able to gain the rights to the song.
  • In "Road to the North Pole," when questioned by Brian if Santa Claus isn't real, Stewie asks Brian if SpongeBob and Elmo are real and asks if SpongeBob really gives Squidward the business.
  • In "Turkey Guys," a balloon of a SpongeBob parody called "SpongeCow" is seen during the JCPenney Thanksgiving Day Parade (a parody of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which doesn't have licensed character balloons and instead uses knockoff characters).
  • In "Inside Family Guy," when Peter is doing a job as a Hollywood Boulevard mascot before deciding to return to the show, a person in a poorly made SpongeBob costume can be seen taking photos with tourists. In real life, there is a SpongeBob mascot on Hollywood Boulevard.
  • In "Pitch Imperfect," Lois Griffin alleges that Tom Hambley would've had her double-fisting high flammable bootleg SpongeBob toys.

Futurama

  • In "Yo Leela Leela," Abner Doubledeal (voiced by Tom Kenny) says that Leela's show would be bigger than "SpongeBot SquareBolts," who is a robot that looks like SpongeBob and is one of the mascots of Tickelodeon.
  • In "31st Century Fox," Bender calls the store owner Squidward Scissorhands.

HouseBroken

  • In "Who's a Good Girl?," Chief (depicted as a cephalopod in Honey's dream) is shown eating various objects he finds next the sea. One of them is a Yellow sponge wearing Red shorts, obviously referencing the show's main character.
  • In "Who's a Mole," Elsa's conscience, a parody of Jiminy Cricket, plays a song on what he calls "The World's Smallest Violin". Possibly referencing a joke in the SpongeBob episode, Squilliam Returns, which has been a meme since the mid-2010s.

King of the Hill

  • In "Tears of an Inflatable Clown," Kahn mentions SpongeBob when he wants to create a diversion. Hank and Peggy look at him oddly while Kahn replies "I don't know what kids like."

The Simpsons

  • In the opening credits of "Pray Anything," SpongeBob is mentioned in Bart's blackboard gag, which says "SpongeBob is not a contraceptive."
  • In "A Star is Born-Again," Ned Flanders says, "This movie is turning into SpongeBob NoPants."
  • In "She Used to Be My Girl," Lisa, needing a god to pray to, tells a newscaster she is praying to Jesus, Buddha, and SpongeBob. Then the camera shows heaven, where Jesus, Buddha, and crudely drawn SpongeBob are. Buddha asks Jesus, "Perhaps we should help?" and SpongeBob interrupts, saying "Screw her!", then laughs insanely, while Jesus shakes his head.
  • In "Fat Man and Little Boy," Krusty the Clown mentions a character called ScratchBob ItchPants while announcing character shirts.
  • In "The Wife Aquatic," Marge and Lisa go to an aquatic museum where there is an exhibit that reads "The Science of SpongeBob" and it shows a SpongeBob statue next to it. Patrick Star also appears as one of the mollusk photos.
  • In "Treehouse of Horror XX," a Frankenstein's monster was dressed in a SpongeBob costume.
  • In "Treehouse of Horror XXI," the episode director Bob Anderson was credited as "Sponge Bob Anderson Pants."

  • In "Yellow Subterfuge," When Krusty the Clown's show is dipping in ratings, he asks Lisa for help; she suggests that he sell foreign rights to his show, saying that even SpongeBob did it. She shows him an Italian parodied version of SpongeBob SquarePants on her tablet called Spugna Roberto Quadrati Pantaloni ("Sponge Roberto Square Pants"). In the show, Spugna Roberto (a parody of SpongeBob) gives a gift to Squiduardo Calamari (a parody of Squidward) for his birthday; the gift is a landmine from World War II. Squiduardo declines the gift, and while he is talking, a non-anthropomorphic seahorse lands on the landmine's button, detonating it and blowing Spugna Roberto & Squiduardo to pieces. A female fish in funeral attire arrives at the scene and exclaims "Calamari? No!" and sobs. In the parody, Roberto lived in a watermelon under the sea, spoofing SpongeBob's pineapple house.
  • In "Brick Like Me," Comic Book Guy says that Bart's giant robot is made out of Batmobile, Hobbit-hole and SpongeBob LEGO play-sets. SpongeBob's pineapple from the Bikini Bottom Undersea Party set is clearly visible in some parts.
  • In "Treehouse of Horror XXIX," in the opening sequence, the sea captain asks Homer if he knows the most evil creature in the sea, and Homer replies "SpongeBob?"
  • In "The Way of the Dog," at the Dognitive Behavioral Therapy Institute, one of the dogs holds a plush that resembles SpongeBob SquarePants with orange skin.
  • In "Treehouse of Horror XXXI," in the segment "Into the Homer-verse," when Homer was going to strangle Bart, he transforms himself into a SpongeBob Homer ("SpongeHomer") and other versions of himself.
  • In "The Wayz We Were," a picture of Patrick was on a captcha screen for hyper-intelligent cartoon characters on the Wayz website, which is a parody of Google's Waze. It was one of the pictures that Lisa didn't click.
  • In "Treehouse of Horror XXXIII," in the segment "Simpsonsworld," at the end appears various theme parks based in some adult cartoons (including The Simpsons itself) are seen, and one of them is called "SpongeBob Sea," being the only theme park based on a kids' cartoon.   • In "The Earworm Reverberation," Sheldon is trying to think of a song that he can't remember, so he's trying to guess songs off the top of his head, and one of the songs he thinks about is the SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song, and even sings the first line.
  • In "The Locomotion Reverberation," Raj and Stuart are left to watch Halley, who is Howard and Bernadette's baby daughter. After talking on the phone with them and hearing how incompetent they seem, Bernadette moans, "I may have just left my infant daughter with Patrick and SpongeBob."

  • As an effort to help spread diversity in society amongst elementary school age children, the "We are Family Foundation" made a music video of the popular disco song of the same name, with multiple characters from shows on Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and PBS Kids. Characters like Barney and the Sesame Street cast were used heavily in the video, while clips from "Bubblestand" and "Jellyfish Jam" were shown throughout. However, since the company sponsoring the video got confused for a similarly named company that promoted same sex marriage, the media interpreted a rumor that SpongeBob and Patrick are a gay couple.

At one point during the tour, when Amy, Isabel, and Jeff are in the employee breakroom, Amy shows a cabinet full of healthy snacks. Amy claims that she just replenished the full cabinet. When looking at that cabinet, Jeff jokingly makes fun of the healthy seaweed snack by calling Amy "SpongeBob." Specifically Jeff says, "Yeah, and thank you for the healthy seaweed snack, SpongeBob.
