Squidward is disgusted with SpongeBob's use of the word "love" and SpongeBob asks if he has ever been in love. Squidward says he has no interest in being a lovestick moron. However, Squidward is suddenly interested in a customer, a female octopus, who calls SpongeBob an idiot. Squidward asks SpongeBob to eavesdrop and learn more about her. He only hears part of a conversation, that she likes men with strong something. Squidward assumes that he needs to be a big bulkymusclemen. SpongeBob offers to help and recruits Larry the Lobster to train Squidward, but he struggles with the workouts. Squidward then tries modern dance, and it works, and he gets pants to show off his calves. However, the female octopus is disgusted and she clarifies that she likes men with strong opinions. Squidward proceeds to blurt out his opinions, to which she likes and they go off together. However, Mr. Krabs is displeased because Squidward's shift does not end for another six hours.
Trivia
- This comic strip has a very similar plot to the episode "Love That Squid," as both involve Squidward falling in love with a beautiful squid girl at his job and trying to impress her.
