The Featured article is: Fools in April SpongeBob wakes up, and realises that it's April Fools Day. He begins the day with pranking his snail, Gary (who cries because he doesn't know it is April Fools Day but SpongeBob calms him down by telling him), then goes to work. Squidward, annoyed by the laughing, looks at the calendar. He is shocked and surprised that it's April Fools Day, and calls Mr. Krabs saying he's sick. Mr. Krabs says that there's some guy in his office who wants to sell Squidward's art. Squidward immediately rushes to his office, only to find that it was a prank. Squidward resigns, but gets his job back after being persuaded by SpongeBob. SpongeBob is constantly doing pranks with his tongue, and his laughs annoy Squidward.
