The Cost of Inflation is the third comic strip of SpongeBob Comics No. 27.

Synopsis
Patrick shows a trick to SpongeBob by taking a deep breath, holding it in, and puffing up his limbs. SpongeBob likes it and tries it too, using the inhaled air to form bubbles out of his pores. The air escapes from both of them, and they lie on the ground laughing, just as Mr. Krabs arrives. Mr. Krabs then comes up with the idea to make money by renting out the inflated SpongeBob and Patrick as whoopie cushions to kids from a stand.
