A timeline I created a while back. The site I originally put it on is closing so I'm putting it here for now.
Prehistory Early Prehistoric Era: Squidward Tentacles goes back in time and invents jellyfishing. Advanced Prehistoric Era: SpongeGar, Patar and Squog discover fire. Before 3000 B.C. The Death of the Flying Dutchman. 1000 B.C. The Fly Dutchman starts winning "Fancy Knotting Contest." 14th Century 1330: Bikini Bottom is founded and established by Fishitto Fishoi. Medieval Medieval Era: Coming Soon in "Dunces & Dragons" 20th Century 1941: The Rusty Krab Retirement Home is established. November 30, 1942: Eugene H. Krabs is born. 1946: The first atomic bomb was dropped on Bikini Bottom's signature island Bikini Atoll. October 23, 1975: Squidward Tentacles is born. 1977: The Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket fast food restaurants are established. March 14, 1983: Patrick Star is born. July 14, 1986: SpongeBob SquarePants is born. 1993: Squidward Tentacles is hired as head cashier of the Krusty Krab 1994: The Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat restaurant is established. 1998: Sandy Cheeks becomes the first land creature to live in Bikini Bottom. November 1998: SpongeBob SquarePants is hired as fry cook of the Krusty Krab 2000 Sandy Cheeks introduces Christmas to Bikini Bottom. 21st Century January 28, 2001: The Krusty Krab explodes after SpongeBob and Squidward try to win the Employee of the Month Award. 2001: In the 21st annual Fry Cook Games, SpongeBob represents the Krusty Krab, and Patrick represents the Chum Bucket. 2002: The Krusty Krab and The Chum Bucket restaurants celebrate 25 years of their rivalry. December 2002: SpongeBob and Patrick sell Chocolate bars to the people of Bikini Bottom. March 3, 2004: SpongeBob fails his driving test for the 38th time. March 4, 2004: SpongeBob cheats on his boating exam, and eventually fails for the 39th time. July 14, 2005: SpongeBob adventures into the dreams of others. October 9, 2005: Bubble Buddy is born. November 20, 2005: SpongeBob and Patrick get stink breath and eventually destroy the Movie Theatre. July 14, 2006: SpongeBob has an accident while sandboarding. March 5, 2017: Squidward gets locked into the Krusty Krab freezer and becomes frozen. March 7, 2029: Mr. Krabs opens up the Krusty Krab 2, and hires Squidward as the manager. Night of March 7, 2029: Plankton steals King Neptune's crown. SpongeBob and Patrick fall asleep at Goofy Goober's after eating ice cream. March 8, 2029: Neptune blames Mr. Krabs for stealing his crown, and SpongeBob volenteers to go get it. Mr. Krabs is frozen. Plankton steals the Krabby Patty secret formula. SpongeBob and Patrick reach the county line, and their Patty Wagon is stolen. March 9, 2029: Krabby Patties are first sold at the Chum Bucket. Night of March 9, 2029: SpongeBob and Patrick enter the Thug Tug and get their key back. March 10, 2029: Squidward figures out Plankton's Plan Z, but Plankton makes everyone in Bikini Bottom his slaves. March 11, 2029: SpongeBob and Patrick are tricked when they see an ice cream stall. A large creature chases them, until the Patty Wagon is eaten. Night of March 11, 2029: Mindy convinces SpongeBob and Patrick to keep going after the crown, after SpongeBob and Patrick give up. SpongeBob and Patrick end up at the bottom of the trench and walk acrossed it. March 12, 2029: SpongeBob and Patrick reach the other side of the trench, and Dennis comes up to them, but is squashed by the Cyclops. The Cyclops captures SpongeBob and Patrick. March 13, 2029: SpongeBob and Patrick suffer in Shell City. March 14, 2029: David Hasselhoff helps SpongeBob and Patrick get back to Bikini Bottom, and Plankton's Plan Z is foiled. 41st Century March 6, 4017: Squidward unfreezes, and finds out that Bikini Bottom is technologized and painted entirely of chrome. The next eternity: Squidward and SpongeBob are still alive, working at the Krusty Krab as skeletons.
