Proposal details

This is the proposal for the format of the episode page names. Here are some reasons why I prefer breckets over subpages:

• Credits won't be able to be a subpage of any main article, since there are usually two episodes that have same credits pages.
  • Some double length will be able to be a subpage, but there are small amount of them.
• On shorter episode names you get a feeling of real tabs: once you click it, it changes color and article; if you ignore loading which is usually fast. However, subpage will add some extra row which push tabs lower.
  • That extra row links to the main article which is already settled with tab system which is in my opinion far better way of linking back.
• Estetical reason, if episode ends on some mark like Plankton! and especially this special, it will have two marks next to each other, so it looks far better with brackets.
  • There is actually simmilar problem with brackets on What if SpongeBob Was Gone? (Gary) (transcript) (you have two brackets), but two brackets, in my opinion, looks better then two marks next to each other.
• We actually use brackets for other stuff. We use it when we need to have a two stuffs with same name*: SpongeBob's Last Stand (DVD).
  • In a wider view, transcript, gallery and others are actually two stuffs with same name, since they can stand alone.
• "Subpage is not a tab" - if there a subpages, it means that those articles aren't on the "same level" as the main article, so that would mean that we don't need tabs to connect all episode articles mutually.
  • Episode articles are on "same level" because they have their own infobox, some chronological linking system (arrows) and they can stand alone.
  • However galleries of Charathers and Video games, doesn't have their own infobox or sth else, they can't stand alone and tabs were made to reduce the size of the article, so those articles are not on the "same level".
• On the other hand, subpages will allow us to rename all tabs of the same episode at once, but it is rarely needed.

*That explains why there is a "(Gary)" and other three characters in What if SpongeBob Was Gone? shorts.
