Organization
The Office Worker Safety Department (also known as the O.W.S.) is an organization in which workers of any given business is to work under safe conditions. If there was any hazardous incident that occurred, a person would be in charge to investigate and determine the punishment of the owner of an establishment. This department is related to the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Description
For each emergency called for the OWS, a worker wearing safety goggles, a safety helmet labeled "OWS," and an identity tag enter the premises of the accident and inspect the area of the accident. The only known employee is a small, purple fish.
History
In the episode "Accidents Will Happen," Squidward attempts to avoid work and sleep on the job when he seemingly gets injured in an accident. A staff member from the organization investigates, but just when Mr. Krabs is forced to pay a one-dollar fine, he discovers he has a security camera and the tape reveals what actually happened.
Band
Ned and the Needlefish are a popular music group and band, with Ned as the band leader.
They have appeared in the episodes, "Wigstruck" and "Hello Bikini Bottom!" In "Wigstruck," when Ned showed his band the wig, they questioned whether it was a wig or a pile of toilet paper. One of the band members took it off to try it on, thus revealing Ned's baldness. So, they played Hot Potato, and eventually the wig fell out of the window of the bus. Ned later goes to Bigshot Records and gets kicked out of the band due to his baldness. Afterward, he walked around Bikini Bottom in shame and gets slammed in his face by his missing wig that SpongeBob abandoned. Ned then rejoined the band and sold a hit record. Later on, people started wearing Ned's wig, probably due to the sudden rise in popularity.
Family
The SquarePants family is a family of sponges who descend from the primitive sponge as well as SpongeGar, who discovered fire along with Patar and Squog. The primitive sponges lived in what was most likely Bikini Bottom. The history of the SquarePants family is unknown until the nineteenth century, when SpongeBuck SquarePants settled in Bikini Gulch, which is modern-day Bikini Bottom.
His descendants still live in Bikini Bottom, the most notable being SpongeBob SquarePants. Somewhere along the SquarePants line between SpongeGar and SpongeBuck, a family member left the place known currently as Bikini Bottom, this was revealed in "Pest of the West," when SpongeBuck came on the train to Dead Eye Gulch.
Friends
The Navy Buddies are Mr. Krabs' friends and former shipmates from back when he was in the Navy in 1960. They are all unique with different nicknames; Mr. Krabs' nickname was "Armor Abs Krabs." They are all muscular, and it is revealed that they each have a secret. They all only appeared in the episode, "Shell of a Man."
