Oswald's taste buds are characters who appear in the episode "What's Eating Patrick?" They are the taste buds of Oswald McNulty.

Description

They are reddish pink taste buds with red lips and yellow eyes with black pupils. One of them wears black glasses. Oswald does not use them in competition.

Role in episode

Mr. Krabs is playing a slideshow to encourage Patrick to eat faster than Oswald, as he is eating very slowly. Mr. Krabs notices that he is not tasting the food, shown by how the Krabby Patties are going over Oswald's taste buds, while many of the taste buds are just doing nothing and staring blankly. One of the taste buds is even reading a book.
