The SpongeBob New Fanon Wiki is a SpongeBob SquarePants fansite and a fork of the SpongeBob Fanon Wiki that closed in 2018. It is where users can create their own spin-offs, episodes, and other fanmade content for other users to read and review. It was founded on September 11, 2018.
History
The wiki was created as a fork of SpongeBob Fanon Wiki, two days before the latter was closed by Fandom Staff on September 13, 2018. When the original site closed, a mass amount of users migrated to the new wiki.
On April 30, 2019, the old wiki reopened and everyone moved back to that wiki, leaving the new wiki mostly abandoned, sans some users who do not know that the old site exists.
