Vortex machine
The vortex machine is an invention that Sandy creates in the episode "Doodle Dimension," and reappears in the game SpongeBob's Idle Adventures.
Description
The vortex machine is a large running wheel placed on a wooden platform that is attached to a large device with a wire.
The device itself has many levers, buttons, and wires that are colored differently that are used to determine the destination of the portal, and there is a large red button that creates the portal. There is a wooden ramp that leads to the portal.
Role in series
"Doodle Dimension"
Sandy creates this invention so she can travel to many universes and make a quick stop to Texas to get barbecued nuts. When SpongeBob and Patrick mess up the control panel, they end up traveling to Doodle Dimension, a dimension where everything drawn comes to life.
They remain stuck in that dimension until the two draw Doodle Sandy who draws a portal for them to make it back home to Bikini Bottom. The old coot also appears through the invention and demands Sandy to give him back the bag of nuts she took.
