Description
It is located within the area of the Cemetery. Slappy Laszlo works in the building as an mortician.
Exterior
The building is a large gray coffin with gold handles on both sides. There is a double door with a stone path, and a chimney on top of the mortuary. At the front, neon lights showcase "Eternal Rest" in green text, while "Mortuary" is written in purple color with all caps. Above it, there is a dynamic figure depicting an opening and closing coffin with a deceased fish inside. Below is a purple banner with a text written with green capital letters saying, "Our prices are to die for."
Interior
Inside, the walls are made of metal plates, and the floor is made with blue tiles. There are shelves with laboratory glassware, and dissection tools hanging on the walls. There is an autopsy table with small stairs and a big lamp lighting the area.
Role in episode
While GrandPat is playing with Tinkle in the cemetery, he catches sight of the mortuary and walks in. He lies down on the dissection table, where falls asleep and imagines himself in the story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." He wakes up after being scared by the sea bears but quickly falls back asleep. Slappy arrives and begins the procedure, pouring embalming fluid into GrandPat through his mouth.
After a while, Slappy checks GrandPat because he is finished with the embalming. When Slappy removes a white cloak from him, the embalming fluid flows out of GrandPat's mouth and covers his body, making him shiny and embalmed, which makes him feel younger.
