Location

Sun-N-Fun Island is a summer camp that appears in the episode "The Inmates of Summer."

Description

It is an island in the sea, in the opposite direction from Inferno Island, where a summer camp takes place. The only part shown is the inside of a building, where the macaroni art activity happens. A room in the building has green walls and a wooden table.

Role in episode

Many kids from Bikini Bottom travel to this camp by ship during the summer months. However, SpongeBob and Patrick do not make it there, as they mistakenly end up on Inferno Island, a cruel prison island. Camp Counselor Kraus rows a raft from Sun-N-Fun Island to Inferno Island after roll call reveals that SpongeBob is missing. When the warden of Inferno Island hears about the activities on the camp island, he decides to send his prisoners there to endure them as a form of torture. During the macaroni art activity on Sun-N-Fun Island, everyone hates the camp, even SpongeBob and Patrick crying back to Inferno Island.

Trivia

The only known activity for campers was making macaroni pictures. Like many, if not all, camps singing campfire songs is what happens there.
There's a large airshow in Lakeland, Florida, known as Sun 'n Fun.
