Make-Out Reef is a location on a ledge in Bikini Bottom. It appears in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V," the book Crime and Funishment, and the comic Com-ick. The skyline of the city can be seen here.

Description

Make-Out Reef is located on a cliff and appears to have various colors of coral. The reef also has a sign that reads "Danger Cliff" written in red. It serves as a place for people, mostly teenagers, to get intimate with their partners.

Role in episode

The chief tells Mermaid Man and The International Justice League of Super Acquaintances to go here in order to take down Barnacle Boy, the Dirty Bubble, and Man Ray, a group also known as E.V.I.L.

Sandals can be seen here smooching with a pillow. Incidental 5 and Incidental 7 are there together as well. Squidward makes a comment about this place about how he went there with his girlfriend during his adolescent years. Barnacle Man, the Dirty Bubble, and Man Ray are also seen here, harassing teenagers as part of their villainous schemes.

Role in comic

SpongeBob and Patrick attempt to hide at Make-Out Reef to avoid an artist who keeps drawing a comic based on them. Patrick sees the guy in one of the car, to the frustration of two other fish who are trying to make out.
