Bruce Brown (December 1, 1937December 10, 2017; aged 80) was an American documentary film director. He voiced the narrator in "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One."

Bruce Brown is best known as a director of several surf films, with his most well-known work being The Endless Summer, which released in theaters in 1966. A sequel to the film was released in 1994. Brown is also known for the 1971 motorcycle sport documentary On Any Sunday. Brown was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Surfers' Hall of Fame in 2009.
