Krusty Krab freezer: Difference between revisions

Location

The Krusty Krab freezer is the freezer used at the Krusty Krab. It first appears in the episode "SB-129."

Description

The freezer is located in the Krusty Krab kitchen behind the grill. The entrance is a blue door with a window and a white lock. The room is used for storing Krabby Patty meat prior to their cooking.

Interior

The interior is colored blue. On the ceiling is an air vent which leads to a labyrinth of air ducts around the Krusty Krab. It also contains a thermostat which can greatly increase the temperature of the room.

Role in series

"SB-129"

Squidward hides from SpongeBob and Patrick in the freezer in an effort to get them off his back. However, when he tries to open the door, he finds that it is locked. He believes that he will be found soon enough, but only emerges from it after being frozen solid for 2,000 years.

"Truth or Square"

SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs get locked in the freezer on the Krusty Krab's eleventy-seventh anniversary. They climb up to the air vent and begin an effort to escape and continue the festivities.

"Planet of the Jellyfish"

The freezer is used as the hideout of the Jelliens. SpongeBob destroys them with mayonnaise, at one point having the heat turned up to destroy their leader.

"Kwarantined Krab"

Whenever Mr. Krabs suspects one of the Krusty Krab's visitors to be sick, he throws them in the freezer to quarantine them.

"Necro-Nom-Nom-Nom-I-Con"

SpongeBob goes here to retrieve ingredients for breakfast.

"A Taste of Plankton"

SpongeBob looks for Krabby Patties in the freezer, but sees that they are entirely out and he needs to make more.

Fate's Frigid Patty

The Krusty Krab freezer is broken, and SpongeBob has to find a way to keep the patties from thawing. He decides to use another freezer called Freezer 13, which Mr. Krabs warned him about. There, he hallucinates that he is going on a fantasy adventure, while he is actually frozen inside the freezer.
