Character
Mr. Manward is a reenactment character portrayed by Rodger Bumpass in "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout." He is the human version of Squidward Tentacles.
Description
He is an elderly man who wears a Trusty Slab hat with a blue anchor on it, a white shirt, and brown pants. He gets annoyed at JimBob and the live action version of Patrick, much like how Squidward gets annoyed at SpongeBob and Patrick.
Role in episode
He is the cashier who works at the Trusty Slab, serving Patrick, Carol, and the customers from the gorilla mask company. He once got annoyed at Patrick for not being able to order his food fast enough and compared him to JimBob.
Trivia
- Unlike Squidward, he wears pants, because it would be inappropriate to show full-on nudity or even just underwear in live-action form.
- According to Vincent Waller, the reason why they did not do 6 limbs for Manward was because it was hard to do in live-action.[1]
