Character

Mrs. Poecilia,[2] also known as the inc big lady fish, is an unnumbered incidental character[3] who first appears in the episode "Whale of a Birthday."

Description

She is a lime green fish with a light orange dorsal fin and has black eyes. She wears a blue dress, a white apron, black shoes, and pink lipstick. She has a large head and many rounded teeth.

Family

As shown in Good Ideas... and Other Disasters, she is married to Mr. Poecilia and has 26 young children.

"Whale of a Birthday"

Mrs. Poecilia visits the Bikini Bottom Mall and walks by the sunglasses store. SpongeBob hides in her mouth so that he can buy Pearl a pair of purple sunglasses without her seeing him.

"What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?"

Mrs. Poecilia is seen as a resident of New Kelp City. She appears in the crowd attending CheeseHead BrownPants' ceremony.

"The Flower Plot"

She is one of the customers at FlowerPot Florist, and she is seen leaving the store while carrying flowers.

The Patrick Star Show

"Shrinking Stars"

She appears as part of the audience watching The Patrick Show!

Role in books

Good Ideas... and Other Disasters

She and her husband hire Mr. Krabs to babysit their 26 children. Mr. Krabs tells them a story from his old sailing days, but when he mentions Davy Jones and his ghost pirate ship, the kids get scared. The kids are still hollering and screaming when Mr. and Mrs. Poecilia return. Mrs. Poecilia gets mad at Mr. Krabs for scaring her children and sends him away with no pay.
