He is an elderly pink jellyfish with a long, white goatee. He holds a stick as a cane.

Role in series

"The Jelly Life"

When SpongeBob comes to learn the ways of the jellyfish, Sensei Buzz Buzz teaches him. The main technique that he teaches are ways to evade being caught by a jellyfish net. He is impressed by SpongeBob's unorthodox technique, he dubs his style "the pickled clown."

"End of Summer Daze"

When SpongeBob catches his first jellyfish, Sensei Buzz Buzz awards him his jellyfishing badge. SpongeBob hugs Sensei Buzz Buzz, only to be shocked.
