Speckled squirter
The speckled squirter is a rare type of jellyfish that appears in the episode "The Pink Purloiner" and the video game SpongeBob Simulator. It can squirt jelly from various parts of its body. It, along with many other rare and exotic jellyfish, appears in Jellyfish Fields during Bikini Bottom's annual jellyfish migration.
Description
This jellyfish is similar to a normal jellyfish except that its squirters are longer and it has tiny orifices around its body that shoot out jelly. It also has seven stingers instead of four.
Regular jellyfish can only squirt jelly from their four stingers. As its name suggests, the speckled squirter can squirt jelly from most parts of its body.
Habitats
Once a year, it migrates to Jellyfish Fields, along with a bunch of other rare jellyfish.
Role in episode
While SpongeBob and Patrick are at the jellyfish migration, they spot the speckled squirter.
Trivia
- The speckled squirter's tentacles are a darker pink than the normal jellyfish's tentacles.
