Template:Bio Template:Person Clarence J. "Clancy" Brown III (born January 5, 1959; age Template:Age) is an American actor and voice artist. He is a main cast member on SpongeBob SquarePants, providing the voice of Template:Data:Links. Outside of the series, Brown is well-known for his roles as Captain Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption and the Kurgan in Highlander.

Clancy Brown also voiced characters in other TV series such as Long Feng from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Chris Bradford/Dogpound/Rahzar from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , Vice Principal Pangborn from All Grown Up, and also voiced Frosty the Snowman in an episode of the Disney series Phineas and Ferb. He is also known for voicing the villains, Dr. Neo Cortex and Uka Uka in the early Crash Bandicoot games.

- When forming Mr. Krabs' laugh, the show's creator, Stephen Hillenburg, was telling Brown to chuckle faster and faster, until he formed the laugh of Mr. Krabs.
- According to a 2013 interview, Brown improvised Mr. Krabs' voice when auditioning for the role.
- Employee of the Month, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Lights, Camera, Pants!, SpongeBob SquarePants Saves the Day, Nickelodeon Toon Twister 3-D, Underpants Slam!, Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, Plankton's Robotic Revenge and SpongeBob HeroPants are the only games that had Clancy Brown voice Mr. Krabs.
- Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast and SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D: Ride is the only rides that had Clancy Brown voice Mr. Krabs.
