Synopsis
SpongeBob tries to help Miss Shell cross the street, but little does he know that she wanted to take the bus. After SpongeBob is notified, he runs after the bus, but trips and Miss Shell goes flying.
She ends up using her umbrella to swing on to a street light and flies into the bus, and then thanks SpongeBob. He gets run over by a boatmobile in the middle of replying with "You're welcome!"

- This is one of five "Best Day Ever" shorts.
- On the Pilot a Mini-Movie and the Square Shorts DVD, this short is titled "Crossing the Road."
- This short premiered six years after "Your Shoe's Untied" and "Squid's Day Off" and two years after Sponge For Hire was released on DVD and VHS.
