Sponge for Hire is a SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tape that was released on November 2, 2004 and contains five episodes from season 3.

Episodes

The cover of this VHS tape is based on the episode "Krusty Krab Training Video."
The artwork of SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs used on the front cover is also used on the second cover of Another Day, Another Sand Dollar.
The back cover of this VHS tape contains pictures from these episodes:

- "Can You Spare a Dime?"
- "Mid-Life Crustacean"
On the back cover, a small screenshot from the episode "Mid-Life Crustacean" is seen. However, that episode is not on this VHS tape, but it is on the DVD version, so that explains why there is a screenshot from said episode.
This VHS tape includes previews for various shows and other Nickelodeon DVDs and VHS tapes. The SpongeBob SquarePants theme song is shown after the closing credits of "Krusty Krab Training Video" since the episode starts with the opening credits.
