SpongeBob goes to the outhouse, and finds Craig hiding inside. He reassures him that losing is not a big deal and he can still make a comeback. Inspired, Craig trains with his team and is ready for the second contest. When it commences, both Craig and Patrick eat hot dogs at a steady pace. Suddenly, chef Plankton realizes that the hot dogs are seconds away from going past their expiration date. During the contest, the hot dogs all simultaneously turn green and shriveled, making the contestants ill. Craig forces himself to keep them down until the timer is up. Patrick eats his trophy, and he and Craig laugh, ending their rivalry.
