==Synopsis==
Following a quick preview of events that'll happen, the short begins with SpongeBob and Squidward in Mr. Krabs' office, with Krabs telling the two about his daughter, Pearl and how she'll bring fresh ideas into the restaurant during her summer vacation. Pearl says she's going to turn the place from "a worn out lunch wagon to a teenage paradise," bringing in new outfits and changing its name, deciding on "The Kuddly Krab."
Later on, The 'Kuddly' Krab seems to have improved its business by a large margin, with teens filling up the restaurant in spades. SpongeBob still believes that he can make food even with the hip new attitude that the Krusty Krab has adapted, but he's immediately proven wrong when he's forced to make salads and grill is eventually removed. He's later given a job outside wearing a big crab mascot outfit, where a fish mocks him, only frustrating SpongeBob. This prompts him to march off to Krabs' office and try to stop Pearl's madness.
Mr. Krabs initially argues against SpongeBob's wishes, but he breaks down after realizing how much money has been spent on fancying up the restaurant and how little money is being raked back in - yet at the same time, he doesn't want to fire Pearl. When SpongeBob tries to comfort Krabs, the latter tells the former to fire Pearl himself. Despite SpongeBob thinking that the whole thing'll go over poorly, it turns out Pearl actually wants to leave and was only trying to please her dad. The two work the situation out, and SpongeBob fires Pearl right next to Krabs' door. After Pearl leaves, SpongeBob returns to a fainted Krabs, who SpongeBob revives with a dollar bill.
Mr. Krabs wakes up sobbing, as he regrets firing Pearl, but after SpongeBob tells him that she took it pretty well, he ends up being proud of her. However, Krabs questions how he's going to make back all of his money that was spent from Pearl buying all of the 'Kuddly' decorations - this results in SpongeBob taking all of them back to his house and partying, telling Gary that it'll only cost him one year's salary. Gary meows sadly as the short ends.
In a post-short scene, a crab-costumed SpongeBob and Pearl bow to the audience, with the former falling due to the weight of his suit, and the latter blowing out kisses.
