Pineapple Playhouse is a series of shorts featuring episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants that are recreated with puppets. This series premiered on the SpongeBob SquarePants Official YouTube channel on October 7, 2020, and it started airing on Nickelodeon on April 16, 2021.
Characters
This series uses custom puppets for the characters. Some of these puppets were first seen in SpongeBob: As Told By.

Unlike most characters who are hand puppets, these characters are finger puppets that are mainly used for recreating scenes that have crowds of incidental characters. - Starting in season 2, the characters will then take a bow at the end of every episode.
- Some of the incidental puppets were recycled from preceding puppets (such as the Ranger and Incidental 42, the Customer and Incidental 154, Incidentals 25, 27, 41, 46, and Pirate 3, and Incidental 118C and Waiter C.
