Template:BTab Template:Book Clean Sweep! is a SpongeBob SquarePants book written by Sonia Sander and illustrated by Barry Goldberg. In this book, Template:Data:Links wants to clean up trash around Bikini Bottom but takes his efforts too far.
Characters
Synopsis
The book starts with SpongeBob visiting Jellyfish Fields with Template:Data:Links. He uses his jellyfish net to catch litter across the field, including an empty box of Jellyfish Chow. To spread awareness of Bikini Bottom's litter problem, he and Patrick start to pass flyers out to citizens. SpongeBob goes into town and starts singing a cleaning song: "Sweep up the trash and put it in the bag! Make a clean sweep and we'll all be glad."
Soon, Bikini Bottom is cleaned up. However, SpongeBob is still obsessed with cleaning and starts taking items before they become trash. He takes a juice box from a fish while he is still drinking it, and takes spoons from Krusty Krab customers before they finish their meals. Template:Data:Links is furious.
SpongeBob takes Template:Data:Links's houseplant while it is still alive, prompting Squidward to give him a lecture. He explains to SpongeBob that cleaning up is a good thing, but that he is taking people's things too soon. SpongeBob apologizes and gives everyone their things back. In Jellyfish Fields, a jellyfish is crying because his lucky cardboard box is gone. SpongeBob runs after him, carrying the Jellyfish Chow box from earlier.
Cover
The cover shows Template:Data:Links dressed in a brown cleaning uniform. He is picking up litter and putting it into a green trash bag.
