Rub-a-Dub-Dub is a SpongeBob SquarePants book written by Sonia Sander and illustrated by Barry Goldberg. It was published by Scholastic Corporation on September 1, 2005. In this book, SpongeBob tries to clean Squidward's rug after he accidentally ruins it with mud. It has 15 pages.

In 2010, it was re-released under the alternate title What Luck!.

Synopsis

SpongeBob runs into Squidward's house and tracts mud all over his welcome rug. SpongeBob suggests putting it in the tub, but Squidward claims he put in too many bubbles. SpongeBob then uses a scrub brush to wash off the mud and begins to hum while he does this. Squidward tells SpongeBob to lower the volume.

After pulling the rug out of the tub, Squidward is grateful for the mud being washed off, but there is a hole in the rug. SpongeBob then cuts the rug to match the size. Afterwards, SpongeBob says it is a nice small rug.

• There is a level with a similar title to this book in the console versions of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game, called "Rub-a-Dub-Dub, Slip Slide in the Tub."
