Book
A Very Krusty Christmas is a SpongeBob SquarePants holiday book written by David Lewman and illustrated by Robert Dress. It was published by Simon Spotlight/Nickelodeon on October 3, 2006. It is 24 pages long and was reprinted on January 11, 2013.
Plot
When Christmas comes, Plankton has customers flocking to the Chum Bucket because of its decorations. Mr. Krabs sees this and orders SpongeBob to start decorating the Krusty Krab, so it can have more customers. However, SpongeBob goes overboard with the Christmas lights, causing all of the lights to go out.
Cover
The cover shows SpongeBob and Patrick in green Christmas elf clothing in front of the Krusty Krab which is seen decorated with Christmas decorations. Gary can be seen in the snow in a Christmas hat and Mr. Krabs is also seen in front of the Krusty Krab.
Errors
- In a few page scenes, Patrick's eyelids are pink instead of purple.
- On the cover, Patrick's eyebrows are missing.
Timeline
- The events in this book take place after "Christmas Who?" because everyone in Bikini Bottom knows what Christmas is.
- Due to this, this book also takes place after "Wormy," "Single Cell Anniversary," "Tea at the Treedome," and "Survival of the Idiots."
