Template:BTab Template:Book Attack of the Zombies! is a SpongeBob SquarePants Ready-to-Read book written by Alex Harvey and illustrated by Harry Moore. It was released on June 28, 2011 and is based on the Template:Data:Links episode "Once Bitten."

Synopsis

When SpongeBob's beloved pet, Gary, starts biting everyone in town word quickly spreads that he has a rare snail disease. The Snail Bite panic spreads leading everyone to Zombie-like behavior and then a manhunt for Gary. Can SpongeBob save Gary? Or will he become a zombie too? This exciting new Ready-to-Read Level 2 is based on an episode.

Cover

The cover shows SpongeBob and Template:Data:Links are running away from the zombies, including Squidward, and all of the zombies have light green eyes. The bottom shows the book's title with two arms also above the ground.

Trivia

This book was released six years after Zoo Day Disaster.

-After {{Link|Gary}} becomes enraged, he begins to bite people on their wrists, causing them to believe they are zombies. {{Link|SpongeBob}} goes to [[Bikini Bottom#Downtown Bikini Bottom|Downtown Bikini Bottom]] and sees everyone as zombies. The zombies begin to chase after SpongeBob, but he hides out in the [[Krusty Krab]], though a [[Dr. Gill Gilliam|doctor]] finds out that they weren't zombies and they were just bitten by an angry {{Link|snail}}. He then proceeds to pull out the splinter like he does in the episode. The book ends with everyone happy, except {{Link|Squidward}}.
