Synopsis
SpongeBob has found an old treasure map, which shows that there is gold at Mrs. Puff's Boating School. He and Patrick drive there in an old wooden boat. SpongeBob makes sure to bring a pile of digging supplies and old junk, just in case they need tools. When they arrive, they ask Mrs. Puff if it is okay for them to look around.
Mrs. Puff happily agrees, thinking they are just playing a game. She gets nervous when SpongeBob and Patrick start to take apart one of her testing boats. They are convinced the gold might be in it, but Mrs. Puff is sure they will not find any. To keep them from destroying the rest of her boats, Mrs. Puff hides her gold-painted ship figurine underneath a big boat.
She tells SpongeBob and Patrick to look under the boat. They find her ship figurine and think it is the treasure. They are very happy and decide to take the figurine home. They thank Mrs. Puff and take off in their wooden boat. She waves and gives them a weary smile.
