Characters

Synopsis

SpongeBob annoys the Flying Dutchman.

An overworked Mr. Krabs rushes around the camp, keeping the campers safe, helping them play games, and tending to his store. Eventually, he snaps and shouts that he needs help. The Flying Dutchman drives by in his ship, and decides to help out so he can haunt the campers. Left with no options, Mr. Krabs reluctantly hires him to run the camp store. The Dutchman curses the store's items, and then SpongeBob walks through the door. SpongeBob gets on the Dutchman's nerves by asking him questions while refusing to buy items.

After the Dutchman kicks out SpongeBob, Rea and Roh come in to buy a toothbrush. The two act rude toward him and request their special toothbrush, which he curses before giving it to them, causing it to grow eyes and appendages. SpongeBob returns, and the Dutchman shoves him in the toothbrush drawer. Mo enters, and turns down the Dutchman's recommendations to buy a rubber horsey. The Dutchman pops it and replaces it with an evil version, then hands it to Mo. SpongeBob comes back and drops a weight on the Dutchman, making him angry. SpongeBob is unsure of what to buy, so the Dutchman asks him how much money he has to spend. SpongeBob takes out a single penny, which is only enough to get a gumball. The Dutchman exhausts the entire machine to find one that SpongeBob wants, and curses the gumball before sending him away.

The shoppers take their cursed items back to the store.

The Dutchman checks back on the campers to see his curses in action. Sandy splits SpongeBob's gumball, and after the cabinmates chew it, the gum turns into vicious ghouls that attack them. The toothbrush, now a spider-like being, ties up Rea and Roh and forcibly brushes their teeth. Mo's evil horsey is out of control and takes her rapidly around the lake. He returns to the store, satisfied, only for the shoppers to return and demand their money back. The Dutchman reverts into his normal pirate outfit and refuses, until Sandy points out that he is bound by the store's return policies. The campers send their items to attack the Dutchman.

The shoppers leave, and the Dutchman quits his job in anger. Mr. Krabs returns, and as he assumes his position behind the counter, the cursed items show up behind him. He screams as lightning flashes over the store.
