When Christmas comes, Plankton has customers flocking to the Chum Bucket because of its decorations. Mr. Krabs sees this and orders SpongeBob to start decorating the Krusty Krab, so it can have more customers. However, SpongeBob goes overboard with the Christmas lights, causing all of the lights to go out.

Errors
- In a few page scenes, Patrick's eyelids are pink instead of purple.
- On the cover, Patrick's eyebrows are missing, and this error was not fixed on the reprint cover. However, it is possible that they were blocked by the hat.
