Appearance
"Chief Taravana" is a traditional Tahitian track. It is a combination of "Sweet Manea" and "Old Mama Roro." This track was arranged by Kapono Beamer. The main instruments being played in the piece include 2 electric guitars, a Tahitian Banjo, and a bass guitar.

Trivia
- "Dying for Pie" is the only episode to play the entire track.
- This track, along with "Hawaiian Holiday" and "Farewell to the Islands," are the only tracks composed by Kapono Beamer that played in the show and were never added to APM prior to them first playing.
- There is a similar track to 2 other Tahitian style tracks called "Sweet Manea" and "Old Mama Roro," also arranged by Beamer, with similar motifs, meter, and instrumentation.
- The track plays higher-pitched and slightly faster in all of its season 1 appearances.
- "Something Smells" is the first episode to play the track in normal pitch and at normal speed.
- Between "Buried in Time" and "To Pop a Bubble", it took this track almost 14 years to return.
