"Nostalgic Hawaii" was composed by George de Fretes and Jan Rap. It is also known as "Welcome To Hawaii" or "Hawaiian Pussycat." The main instruments being played in the piece include a bass guitar, a steel guitar, a ukulele, a vibraphone, a drum set, an acoustic guitar, a vocal backup chorus and other percussion instruments. It is mostly played during happy moments.

This piece was created and performed by The Royal Hawaiian Minstrels in 1969.

Trivia

  • "Nature Pants" and "Opposite Day" are the only sister episodes to use this track, even if both episodes uses different versions.
  • "Gary Takes a Bath" is the only episode to use the track more than once.
    • It also bookends the said episode.
  • Season 1 and season 2 are the only seasons in which multiple episodes use the track.
  • In all of its usages, the beginning notes of this track have never been played.
  • "Fungus Among Us" is the only episode after the first movie to play this track, due to the show losing the rights.
