Synopsis

SpongeBob is carrying a bunch of packages into his house when he realizes that his calendar says it is Surprise Sandy Day. So, he sneaks over to Sandy's treedome and places a bouquet of flowers in the vase onto her picnic table with a note that reads, "To Sandy, the smartest, prettiest squirrel in Bikini Bottom. Signed: A Friend."

• This short premiered Bob Jaques' 50th birthday, six years after "Your Shoe's Untied" and "Squid's Day Off" premiered and two years after Sponge For Hire was released on DVD and VHS.
• The calendar only has 30 days, meaning this short takes place in either April, June, September, or November.
• This short is similar to the scene in the episode "Tea at the Treedome" where SpongeBob gives Sandy some flowers.

Errors

• Sandy's glass vase is empty until SpongeBob adds flowers to it off-screen.
