The Patrick microwave[1] is a microwave that appears in the episode "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?"
Description
The Patrick microwave is a large microwave made to resemble Patrick Star. It has three purple buttons on his green pants, similar to that of the purple flower pattern on Patrick's own pants, a built-in speaker in his mouth, and a microwave door and handle built on his stomach.
Role in episode
Mr. Krabs installs the Patrick microwave as a way for customers to heat up the Frozen Krabby Patties. The Frozen Krabby Patty must be put into a microwave located where Patrick's stomach would be. When the patties finish cooking, the Patrick microwave makes a "ding" sound in Patrick's voice.
Near the end of the episode, the microwave can be seen scattered in a junk pile in the Krusty Krab, alongside other items from the Krusty Museum, after the secret of the Frozen Krabby Patties being made of sand is revealed.
Trivia
- It is similar to the Patrick wristwatch seen in "Lost in Bikini Bottom," in that both are Patrick-themed objects that contain the character mimicking the sound associated with the object.
