Interviews with SpongeBob SquarePants' creator Stephen Hillenburg, a detailed episode guide, a SpongeBob fan certificate, and other treats fill an insider's guide to the popular cartoon series.
Page 83 states that both "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler" and "Pranks a Lot" will be "premiering in the future!" This is because those episodes would not air in the United States for about 2 weeks and 6 days when this book was published. As a result, it is the only airdate in the book that is outdated by today's standards.
Page 75 says that "Shanghaied" premiered on Saturday, July 26, 2003, even though that episode actually premiered on March 9, 2001. The airdate listed is actually "Gary Takes a Bath," its sister episode, which did premiere on Nickelodeon on that date.
On page 79, the summary given for "Doing Time" says, "SpongeBob and Patrick get entangled with a wanted criminal. They end up driving the criminal so crazy that he turns himself in to the police." However, this description actually refers to "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler." However, Patrick doesn't help SpongeBob drive the Strangler to insanity, and only is there during the party scenes and the scene where the Strangler manipulates Patrick to think he is the Strangler.
